Q1: Legality of human cryopreservation research?

A: At present, there are no prohibitive or restrictive regulations in China. The human body cryopreservation currently carried out by Yinfeng Research Institute is part of the Yinfeng Life Sustainability Research Program and belongs to scientific research. According to the "Regulations on Donation of Remains of Shandong Province",

Q2: if there are no regulations on body donation at the place where the registered permanent residence or the hospital is on the deathbed, how can the procedure of body donation be carried out?

A: in order to ensure full compliance with laws and regulations and reduce the obstacles and difficulties in the coordination of donated bodies by the Red Cross societies around the country, volunteers are encouraged to transfer to a cooperative hospital in Jinan, Shandong Province during a serious illness or before a critical illness, so as to ensure the timeliness of participating in the research program. Of course, through the coordination of the Red Cross Society, we can also get some understanding and support, but there is often great uncertainty.

Q3: what are the specific requirements for participating volunteers in the study of human cryopreservation?

A: for volunteers who volunteer to participate in the study program, we need to evaluate the volunteers, including legal, ethical, feasibility of donation procedures, disease status, contraindications, surgical risks, transfer programs, and their willingness to disclose information to the public. Volunteers and their families need to sign relevant documents and accept the evaluation before they can participate in the research project of human cryopreservation in terms of scientific awareness, dedication, support and contribution to this research project.
