A Standard Protocol for Cryopreservation of Intact Organisms
Initial consultation

Consult with staff on how to become a participant of our program and other related issues via official phone number and customer service on WeChat.
Site visits and tours

Make an appointment with the staff in advance for a site visit and a tour to the base of the program and a detailed interview with the staff.
Application submission

Prospective participants or their authorized representatives complete the following documents:
Shandong Provincial Body (Cornea) Donation Registration Application Form,Yinfeng Life Extension Program Participant Application Form.
Evaluation and review

Shandong Yinfeng Life Science Research Institute evaluates whether prospective participants meet the conditions for program recruitment from the dimensions of legal ethics, medical conditions, and implementation plan.
Approval

Participant applications are formally approved by the institute.
Transportation (for non-Jinan residents)

In order to improve the communication efficiency and clinical responsiveness of individuals participating in the Program and to maximize the effectiveness of the implementation, participants are encouraged to transport to hospitals/hospice care facilities in Jinan, Shandong, during critical illness or prior to end stages.
Clinical Response

Medication support and cardiopulmonary support to ensure blood and oxygen supply to the participant's body after clinical death.
Cryoprotectant agents perfusion

The replacement of cryoprotectant agents and blood using a minimally invasive dual-access extracorporeal circulation surgical protocol.
Programmed cooling

Use the high-precision temperature-controlled cooling device to cool down the participant’s core temperature to -190°C.
Cryopreservation

Transport the participant to a cryopreservation system of -196°C for long-term storage.
