On July 16, Professor Liu Baolin, Dean of the Institute of Science and Technology Development of University of Shanghai for Science and Technology and Vice Chairman of the Yinfeng Cryogenic Medicine Expert Committee, visited Yinfeng Cryogenic Medicine Research Center.

During the visit, Professor Liu introduced the development history and current situation of cryomedicine with great interest, reviewed the specific progress of Yinfeng's life extension plan and its tissue and organ cryopreservation and resuscitation research project with the Yinfeng cryomedicine team, and affirmed the achievements of the Yinfeng cryomedicine team. At the same time, the two sides jointly imagined the future vision and bright future of cryomedicine.
Professor Liu Baolin and his team are committed to the study of cryopreservation methods of human cells and tissues, as well as the mechanism of cryogenic damage of cells and tissues, and the cryopreservation and freeze-drying of biological materials.

In 2019, Professor Liu Baolin and Yinfeng Cryogenic Medicine Research Team jointly carried out the research on "Tissue and Organ Preservation Research and System Construction of Life Resource Bank", as a biomedical resource in urgent need of Jinan City, the project was included in the "Quancheng Scholar" construction project, and Professor Liu Baolin won the honorary title of "Quancheng Scholar".
Over the years, Yinfeng Cryogenic Medicine and University of Shanghai for Science and Technology have carried out in-depth cooperation on the industry-university-research of cryogenic medicine, and the two sides have carried out scientific research cooperation and established a scientific research and production consortium based on the friendly principle of resource sharing. Conduct in-depth exchanges on the cryopreservation and recovery of tissues and organs, and conduct in-depth cooperation on the development of key cryopreservation technologies and equipment. At the same time, the two sides have made strong alliances in talent training, built a talent Xi base, jointly built an education fund, and promoted the exchange and introduction of talents, and achieved gratifying results.

Consolidate scientific research cooperation and promote the transformation of achievements. Based on the long-term good cooperation foundation and existing achievements of the two sides, in the future, the two sides will continue to devote themselves to the joint technical research of deep cryopreservation of complex tissues and organs, deepen the cooperation between industry, university and research institutes of cryogenic medicine, promote the practical implementation of more scientific research achievements, and create a new highland for the research and transformation of cryogenic medicine.

Among them is the globally first-of-its-kind ovarian tissue dual-activation technology developed by Shandong Silver Med Life Science Research Institute (Jinan).
Recently, Frigid Zone Medicine, an authoritative international journal in the field of cryomedicine, published an important review titled "Advances in the Detection Methods for Assessing the Viability of Cryopreserved Samples". Written by the team of Yinfeng Cryomedical Research Center, the article systematically reviews and analyzes various detection techniques currently used to evaluate the viability of cryopreserved cells, tissues, and organs. It also proposes key directions from the perspectives of methodological integration and future instrument development, offering crucial theoretical support and practical guidance for the long - term cryopreservation of complex tissues and organs.
Recently, the "Novel Technology for Ultra-Low Temperature Cryopreservation, Activation, and Transplantation of Human Ovarian Tissue," developed through a collaborative effort between Shandong Yinfeng Life Science Research Institute and Beijing University of Chinese Medicine Shenzhen Hospital, has been awarded the 2025 Shandong Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Science and Technology Award. This groundbreaking technology pioneers a new pathway for female fertility preservation, marking a significant leap in China’s interdisciplinary advancements in reproductive medicine and cryobiology.
On May 19, a delegation from the Chinese Training Workshop for Government Officials of Developing Countries visited the exhibition hall of Yinfeng Biological Group's Cryomedicine Research Center. Government officials from multiple countries gained in-depth insights into Yinfeng’s innovative achievements in cryobiomedicine, cell storage, genetic technology, and other fields. They engaged in discussions with the delegation on technology transfer and international cooperation, contributing to the building of a global community with a shared future for humanity.
