On November 23rd, the 3rd Low Temperature Biomedical and Bioheat Transfer Forum was held at Shanghai University of Technology. Jia Chunsheng, General Manager of Yinfeng Low Temperature Medical Technology Co., Ltd. and Vice President of Shandong Yinfeng Life Science Research Institute, was invited to lead the team to participate. Nearly 30 well-known domestic scholars in the field of biological heat transfer and cryobiology from more than 20 scientific research institutions, including the University of Science and Technology of China, the Institute of Physical and Chemical Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Polar Biology and Ecology Research Office of the China Polar Research Center, Beijing University of Science and Technology, Zhejiang University, etc., attended the forum.
The attending guests engaged in exciting academic sharing and discussions on the origin, evolution, function, and application of antifreeze proteins in Antarctic fish, as well as the intravascular transport of diagnostic/therapeutic nanocarriers and their interactions with cell membranes, which expanded our hospital's business perspective and inspired more research directions to think.
Professor Zhao Gang from the University of Science and Technology of China, Professor Sun Wenquan and Professor Xu Yi from Shanghai University of Technology, as well as other collaborating experts from our institute, also shared special reports on "Low temperature preservation of living cells based on intracellular trehalose cold responsive nanocapsules delivery" and "Thermophysical analysis of tissue regeneration scaffolds" at the forum, which received praise and enthusiastic discussions from on-site experts.
At the end of the forum, there was a lively discussion on the development of disciplines, and the attending experts unanimously agreed to establish a national low-temperature biomedical technology platform and create a good atmosphere for the rapid development of low-temperature biomedical technology. Jia Chunsheng, General Manager of Yinfeng Low Temperature Medical Technology Co., Ltd. and Vice President of Shandong Yinfeng Life Science Research Institute, stated that as the first incubation and transformation institution in China that focuses on the field of low-temperature medicine and targets cutting-edge biomedical technologies, it will play a more active role in promoting the preservation, utilization, and development of human genetic resources, safeguarding human life and health.

Currently, the ovarian tissue dual activation technology has been successfully applied in clinical practice at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine Shenzhen (Longgang) Hospital, having treated over 400 patients with a treatment success rate of 70%.
