Exploring life sciences and anticipating future miracles. The Yinfeng Life Extension Program members' online exchange meeting successfully concluded at 9:30 AM. Aaron Drake, Director of the Clinical Response Center at Shandong Yinfeng Life Science Research Institute (hereafter referred to as Yinfeng Institute), and the cryonics team participated in this exchange event.
During the meeting, Aaron Drake introduced members to the history and current status of international human cryopreservation. He mentioned that human cryopreservation is a scientific technique that preserves human life at extremely low temperatures, with the hope that future medical technology will advance enough to cure diseases and reverse aging, allowing for revival. Cryopreservation involves cooling the human body to a low temperature of -196℃, at which all biological activities cease, meaning the body undergoes no changes. Currently, more than 700 people worldwide have undergone cryopreservation, and over 5,000 have pre-registered to participate in cryopreservation when their health begins to fail. Human cryopreservation is not just about freezing people; it is about keeping hope alive for those with terminal illnesses or severe injuries. Although revival is not yet possible, rapid advancements in biology, neuroscience, and artificial intelligence offer hope for realizing this dream.
Yinfeng Institute's Cryonics Department Researcher Hao Yan and Public Affairs Director Li Qingping shared insights into the scientific progress and operational model of the Yinfeng Life Extension Program. In the interactive segment, there was in-depth communication and discussion regarding questions raised by members.
To date, all the achievements and progress of the Yinfeng Life Extension Program are inseparable from the support and encouragement of every member. Whether their roles in society are scientists, engineers, or entrepreneurs, here we are united under one name — members of the Yinfeng Life Extension Program. We share common ideals and goals, as well as shared hopes and watchfulness. In the future, Yinfeng Institute's cryonics team will continue to contribute towards the development of cryobiomedicine alongside all member friends, illuminating our shared dreams with concrete actions.
Latest developments
With infinite hope for future medical technology, I applied to become a member of the Yinfeng Life Extension Program and volunteered to contribute to cryobiology in a hundred years by becoming a cryonics volunteer. I also believe that preservation in China is safer.
As a distinguished emblem of technological innovation in Shandong, Yinfeng's Life Continuation Project will continue to build a bridge for domestic and international government research and academic exchange, continually strengthen scientific collaborations and result transformations with global research institutions, consistently contribute to the development of cryobiomedicine, and inject continuous hope into the shared ideal of extending human life.
