The deep integration of industry, academia and research is the core content and important implementation form of innovation-driven development, and is also the strategic focus of national scientific and technological innovation. In order to actively respond to the national strategy, further accelerate the in-depth integration of industry, academia and research, promote school-enterprise cooperation in a wider scope, deeper degree and higher level, and achieve complementary advantages and collaborative innovation, over the years, Yinfeng Hypothermia Medicine Research Center has cooperated with domestic and foreign Scientific research institutes in multiple disciplines cooperate to actively promote the scientific research progress and implementation of cryogenic medicine.
On July 16, Professor Liu Baolin, Dean of the Institute of Science and Technology Development of the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology and Deputy Chairman of the Yinfeng Cryomedicine Expert Committee, visited the Yinfeng Cryomedicine Research Center for a visit and exchange.

Professor Liu Baolin
Dean of the Institute of Science and Technology Development, University of Shanghai for Science and Technology
Ministry of Education Excellent New Century Talents Plan
Leader of the Cryobiology Group of the Biobank Branch of the China Medical Biotechnology Association
Director of Shanghai Collaborative Innovation Center for Tumor Energy Therapy Technology and Devices
Director of Shanghai Biological Resources Cryopreservation Professional Technical Service Platform
Deputy Chairman of Yinfeng Hypothermia Medicine Expert Committee
During the visit, Professor Liu introduced the development history and current situation of cryogenic medicine with great interest. Together with the Yinfeng cryogenic team, they reviewed the specific progress of the Yinfeng life extension plan and its tissue and organ cryopreservation and recovery research projects. Feng’s cryogenic medicine team affirms the results achieved. At the same time, both parties jointly imagined the future vision and bright future of cryogenic medicine.

Professor Liu Baolin and his team are committed to studying cryopreservation methods of human cells and tissues, as well as the mechanism of low-temperature damage to cells and tissues, as well as the cryopreservation and freeze-drying of biological materials. In 2019, Professor Liu Baolin and the Yinfeng cryogenic medicine research team jointly carried out research on "tissue and organ preservation research and system construction of life resource library". As a biomedical resource in urgent need of Jinan City, this project was included in the "Quancheng Scholars" construction project Project, Professor Liu Baolin won the honorary title of "Quancheng Scholar".

Over the years, Yinfeng Cryogenic Medicine has conducted in-depth cooperation with the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology on cryogenic medicine industry, academia and research. Based on the friendly principle of resource sharing, both parties have carried out scientific research cooperation and established a scientific research and production consortium. Conduct in-depth exchanges on cryopreservation and recovery of tissues and organs, and conduct in-depth cooperation on the development of key cryopreservation technologies and equipment. At the same time, the two parties have joined forces in terms of talent training, built a talent internship base, jointly established an education fund, promoted talent exchange and introduction, and achieved gratifying results.

Consolidate scientific research cooperation and promote the transformation of results. Based on the long-term good cooperation foundation and existing achievements between the two parties, in the future, the two parties will continue to work on joint technical research on deep cryopreservation of complex tissues and organs, deepen the cooperation between industry, academia and research in cryogenic medicine, promote the practical implementation of more scientific research results, and create a new platform for cryogenic medicine research and transformation. New Highlands.

“School of Medical Devices and Food” is now renamed as “School of Health Sciences and Engineering”
Here, we also look forward to more leading international and domestic laboratory research teams and scientific research institutes strengthening technical cooperation and translational research to jointly contribute to the development of cryogenic medicine in China.
Attachment: University of Shanghai for Science and Technology
The University of Shanghai for Science and Technology owns the Ministry of Education’s “Minimally Invasive Medical Devices” Engineering Research Center, the Shanghai Key Discipline of “Medical Device Engineering”, and the “Cryogenic Biology Laboratory”. The School of Health Sciences and Engineering under its jurisdiction has long been engaged in research in the field of cryogenic biomedical technology. Including the cryopreservation, freeze-drying and thermal science issues of biological materials (cells, tissues and food materials), some innovative results have been made in the cryopreservation and freeze-drying of important human cells. In recent years, the college has undertaken more than 100 nationally important scientific research projects of various types, with approved funding of more than 100 million yuan; it has won more than ten science and technology awards at the provincial and ministerial levels; it has published more than 600 papers included in SCI and authorized nearly 200 invention patents; completed More than 200 horizontal scientific research results have been transformed, and related research leads the country in the low temperature industry.

The debut and discourse of the YinFeng Life Continuation Project not only served as an authoritative demonstration of its own ethical governance framework but also contributed practical wisdom toward establishing industry norms.
Yinfeng Foundation Honored as "2025 Public Welfare Donor" by Jinan Red Cross
Looking ahead, Yinfeng Foundation will use this recognition as an opportunity to further deepen its strategic collaboration with the Jinan Red Cross, expand cooperation in areas such as life health and emergency response, and continue to empower efforts to accelerate the construction of a "new, strong, excellent, rich, beautiful, and high-quality" modern socialist strong capital city, contributing even more Yinfeng strength to this endeavor.
The team successfully developed the CryoSIM platform, an intelligent microfluidics and deep learning-integrated system. This platform deeply integrates core technologies of deep learning and microfluidics to enable high-throughput, high-precision automated analysis of oocyte membrane permeability. It provides a novel technological tool for optimizing and advancing the clinical translation of oocyte cryopreservation techniques. Additionally, it offers an innovative practical paradigm for the application of artificial intelligence in low-temperature biomedicine and reproductive medicine.
