From August 9th to 10th, Zhang Guirong, Assistant to the President and R&D Director of Yinfeng Biotechnology Group, and Liu Zhicheng, Head of Yinfeng Cryotherapy, were invited to visit and exchange ideas at the University of Science and Technology of China and Shanghai Institute of Technology. They also discussed the development of low-temperature biomedical technology with the Executive Director of the International Cryotherapy Society, Professor Zhao Gang from the University of Science and Technology of China, a member of the International Cryotherapy Biomedical Society, and Professor Xu Yi from Shanghai Institute of Technology, Full exchanges were held on the joint development and cooperation of high-end technologies, as well as the establishment of expert committees.


At Shanghai University of Technology, I carefully listened to the development and research achievements of the Institute of Biological Systems Thermal Science over the past 40 years, and had full exchanges on domestic and foreign research and hot research directions. Through communication, both sides have reached a clear agreement on the joint technology research and development of deep low-temperature preservation of complex tissues and organs.
Consolidate scientific research cooperation, promote achievement transformation, expand external platforms, and enrich the expert team. This exchange activity is a pioneering practice guided by scientific research in our institute, and also a help to strengthen the deep integration of industry, academia, and research, and promote the transformation of scientific research achievements.

The laboratories of the University of Science and Technology of China and Shanghai University of Technology visited this time are internationally renowned research bases for low-temperature medicine. The two sides have joined forces to cooperate on low-temperature preservation and recovery research of tissues and organs, committed to creating a new highland for low-temperature medicine research and transformation, which will effectively promote the progress of low-temperature medicine technology in China. Here, we also look forward to more leading international and domestic laboratory research teams and research institutes strengthening technical cooperation and translational research, jointly contributing to the development of low-temperature medicine in China.

The team successfully developed the CryoSIM platform, an intelligent microfluidics and deep learning-integrated system. This platform deeply integrates core technologies of deep learning and microfluidics to enable high-throughput, high-precision automated analysis of oocyte membrane permeability. It provides a novel technological tool for optimizing and advancing the clinical translation of oocyte cryopreservation techniques. Additionally, it offers an innovative practical paradigm for the application of artificial intelligence in low-temperature biomedicine and reproductive medicine.

Global First Ovarian Tissue Dual Activation Technology Debuts at 2025 Jinan Achievements Conference
Currently, the ovarian tissue dual activation technology has been successfully applied in clinical practice at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine Shenzhen (Longgang) Hospital, having treated over 400 patients with a treatment success rate of 70%. Over the next three years, Shandong Yinfeng Life Science Research Institute plans to use Jinan as a center to gradually expand the transformation and application of this technological achievement nationwide.
