On the morning of October 17, 2020, the 12th National Academic Annual Conference on Low Temperature Biomedical and Equipment was grandly held in Jinan, Quanzhou. The conference was themed "Low Temperature Helps Healthy China" and lasted for two days. More than 100 low-temperature biomedical experts from across the country attended the conference.
Wang Chao, Secretary General of the Small Refrigerator Low Temperature Biomedical Professional Committee of the China Refrigeration Society, Liu Baolin, Dean of the School of Medical Devices and Food at Shanghai University of Technology, Deputy Director of the Modern Minimally Invasive Medical Devices and Technology Engineering Research Center of the Ministry of Education, Deputy Director of the Small Refrigerator Low Temperature Biomedical Professional Committee of the China Refrigeration Society, and Leader of the Low Temperature Biology Group of the Biological Sample Bank Branch of the China Medical Biotechnology Association, More than 20 well-known experts in the field of low-temperature biomedical medicine from China, including Bi Yanwen, Chief Physician of Cardiovascular Surgery at Qilu Hospital of Shandong University and Chairman of Shandong Provincial Association of Low Temperature Medicine, Wei Qiang, Deputy Director of Laboratory Management Department of China Center for Disease Control and Prevention, and Director of National Pathogenic Microbial Resource Bank, were invited to attend the conference.

At the opening ceremony, Professor Liu Baolin announced the opening of the conference and expressed welcome and gratitude to the attending experts in his speech. At the same time, he pointed out that low-temperature biomedical science, as an emerging interdisciplinary field that has gradually formed in recent decades, integrates life sciences, modern medicine, and low-temperature technology to perform low-temperature freezing treatment, recovery, repair, and treatment of human cells, tissues, organs, and even the entire human body. It is one of the most rapidly developing disciplines in the field of life sciences in recent years. Thanks to the joint efforts of modern low-temperature medical experts, the development and market size of low-temperature biomedical science in China have reached an advanced level in the world.
Director Bi Yanwen said in his speech that although low-temperature biomedical science is a niche discipline, it is very important. Many clinical works cannot be carried out without the support of low-temperature biomedical research, such as heart transplantation, low-temperature preservation of heart valves and other organs. Low temperature has bought a window of time for life. He called for a closer integration between low temperature and medicine, so that low temperature technology can truly serve clinical and patient needs, and better assist healthy China.
President Wang Baoqing emphasized in his speech that low-temperature biomedicine is an emerging interdisciplinary field. Yinfeng Biotech Group attaches great importance to the development of low-temperature biomedicine and continues to explore the mechanism of low-temperature preservation of life resources, as well as the development and application of cutting-edge technologies. The Small Refrigerant Low Temperature Biomedical Professional Committee of the Chinese Refrigeration Society has been vigorously promoting cooperation between industry, academia, and research in low-temperature medicine for many years by organizing various academic seminars, new technology exhibitions, evaluating and recommending excellent papers and scientific awards from the Refrigeration Society. This has enabled new technologies to be better applied in practice and serve society.
After the opening ceremony, the attending experts gave keynote speeches to the conference on the significance of low-temperature preservation, key issues in preservation technology, low-temperature biomedical materials, and human genetic resource preservation, sharing research results, analyzing bottlenecks and weaknesses, and exploring technical difficulties. For experts who are unable to attend the conference due to special reasons, organize video connections and conduct online lectures. During the meeting, the attending guests asked questions and had in-depth discussions on the topics covered in the report. After the meeting, the attending guests visited and exchanged ideas at Yinfeng Life Science Research Institute.

On August 23, the Jinan Private Economic Development Bureau and China Economic Weekly jointly launched the theme publicity activity of "Central Media Look at Jinan - Entering Jinan's Private Economy" in Yinfeng Biotechnology Park.
Led by Anhui Medical University and participated by Yinfeng Cryogenic Medical Technology Co., Ltd., the "Engineering Research Center for Life Resources Conservation and Artificial Organs of the Ministry of Education" was officially accepted and awarded by the Ministry of Education. As one of the four major platforms for the transformation of the center's project, Yinfeng Cryogenic Co., Ltd. is responsible for the "development, promotion and application of cryogenic preservation technology of biological matrix materials".
On March 28, 2023, the kick-off meeting of the International Alliance for Life Extension Research was held in Jinan, Shandong. The "International Alliance for Life Extension Research" was initiated by Shandong Yinfeng Life Science Research Institute, and jointly established by 13 international scientific research institutions engaged in the field of cryogenic biomedicine from North America, Europe, Oceania, etc., and appeared at the conference through online and offline forms.
