The scene of the event

Today, let's walk into "The Miracle of Life" together to explore the "Chinese story" and "Chinese temperature" behind cryogenic medicine.

Explore cryomedicine and pursue the miracle of life

"While there is life, there is hope" – a famous quote from the great physicist Stephen Hawking, which can be translated as "life is endless, hope is not endless", which fully explains the relationship between scientific exploration and the inheritance of life. Scientific and technological innovation enables human beings to continuously pursue more possibilities for life, health and life continuity, and the development of cryogenic medicine is a dazzling star in the wave of scientific and technological innovation, and is one of the key technical means to promote the development of human life sciences.

Cryomedicine is a science that studies the suspension or retardation of physiological functions of organisms at extremely low temperatures, and it first originated in the middle of the 20th century. As of today, through the efforts of scientists around the world for several generations, cryomedicine has achieved the preservation of a variety of biological tissues, including the continuous development of new technologies such as gamete preservation, ovarian tissue, testicular preservation, etc., so that millions of infertile families have a new life. In the field of organ transplantation, the world's first cryopreserved human organ transplant was successful in 1975. Today, thanks to advances in cryoprotectants and cryoperfusion technology, tens of thousands of patients around the world rely on cryoprotectant technology to regain their lives every year.

Cryogenic technology has played an important role in the development of life sciences. It can be said that cryogenic technology has become a key for human beings to interpret the miracle of life. Standing at the forefront of cryogenic medicine, Chinese scientific and technological workers are also writing their own legends - in 2017, Shandong Yinfeng Life Science Research Institute completed China's first human cryopreservation, which marks that China has become the third country to master this technology after the United States and Russia, and promotes China's cryogenic biomedical research level to rank among the top in the world.

Yinfeng's breakthrough is undoubtedly an important milestone in the history of life sciences in China and the world, opening the door to a better future, and our original intention in filming and producing "The Miracle of Life" is to conduct a dialogue on the development of cryogenic medicine in China through the language of images and more infectious communication methods, to narrow the distance between the public and life sciences, to tell Chinese stories and spread Chinese voices.

"The Miracle of Life" documentary

Uphold the original mission and bloom the temperature of China

It is better to beg for fire than to take flint, and it is better to dig a well than to send it. We are well aware that cutting-edge technology cannot be obtained from other countries, and only by relying on independent scientific research and innovation can we keep up with the pace of scientific development and then move towards a broader road of exploration. To this end, in 2003, Yinfeng Group began to lay out the biomedical industry.

In 2013, Yinfeng Biotech determined the research direction of human cryopreservation and legal ethics; In 2015, Shandong Yinfeng Life Science Research Institute was formally established, and China's independent research on human cryopreservation began. In 2017, Shandong Yinfeng Life Science Research Institute completed China's first human cryopreservation; In 2023, the "International Life Extension Research Alliance" initiated by Yinfeng Life Science Research Institute will be officially established, which will unite 28 international scientific research institutions in the field of cryogenic medicine to cultivate the fertile soil of life sciences.

From 2003 to 2013 and now to 2023, Yinfeng Biological Group has gone through extraordinary years. Looking back at the footsteps imprinted with infinite memories along the way, we first turned the lens to the expert team of Yinfeng Life Extension Program, and listened to their stories and voices of promoting the development of cryogenic medicine in China from the dialogue and narration.

Shen Baijun, the world's first mixed cord blood transplant scientist and an expert with special allowance from the State Council, is a founding member and chief scientist of Yinfeng Biological Group, he recalled the development process of China's cryogenic technology, and pointed out that China's cryogenic medicine has made good achievements in the fields of cryoprotective solution and cryotherapy instruments, but there is still a lot of work to be done in the future. We hope to realize our dreams as soon as possible. ”

"The Miracle of Life" through the interview with the Yinfeng team, into the inner world of these outstanding scientific researchers, they take the continuation of life as the mission, uphold the original intention and ingenuity, constantly explore and open up the boundaries of cryogenic technology, write a new chapter of cryogenic medicine with a lasting and enthusiastic "Chinese temperature", and create a miracle and hope for the continuation of life.

Listen to diverse voices and draw a blueprint of hope together

Yinfeng Biological Group has achieved fruitful scientific research results in the extraordinary decade, but this is not enough to broaden the development prospects of cryogenic medicine, because on the road of technological advancement, it is bound to encounter scientific, ethical, legal and other problems and challenges. If we want to improve the image of cryomedicine in the public perception, we must realize that it is not only a science, but also a human thinking about life and the future, which affects the development and change of society and culture.

For this reason, "The Miracle of Life" tries to present multi-dimensional and objective content by finding a unique perspective between recording and expression, which helps the audience to form a three-dimensional understanding of the theme in a limited time. On the basis of multi-person interviews, through dialogues with representatives of different industries and fields, the mutual unity of cross-border and integration is formed, which can not only stimulate profound answers to common problems through individual experience, but also collide with unexpected sparks of thought.

Tell China's story well and practice brand power

The "China Sky Eye" was completed and opened, the "Struggler" dived 10,000 meters deep, the "Xihe" bravely explored the sun, and the "artificial sun" continued to "burn"... The extraordinary achievements of the extraordinary ten years have witnessed China's progress from a scientific and technological power to a scientific and technological power - just as China's cryogenic medicine is constantly forging ahead on the journey of catching up with and surpassing the world, rushing to the bright future of life, health and life continuation, and writing a magnificent picture of scientific and technological self-confidence and national self-confidence with the huge pen of "Chinese temperature".

This kind of self-confidence not only exists in the deep accumulation over the years, but also in the innovative expression that keeps up with the times. The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that "accelerate the construction of Chinese discourse and Chinese narrative system, tell Chinese stories well, spread Chinese voices, and present a credible, lovable and respectable image of China." How to tell China's story well is undoubtedly a grand proposition.

In August 2022, the "China Temperature" public welfare communication project jointly planned by the Advertising Research Center of Shandong University, Shandong Brand Construction Promotion Association, and Qilu Evening News One Point Think Tank was officially launched. The project aims to explore the progress of outstanding enterprises in Shandong in the "Extraordinary Decade", deeply record the achievements and contributions in their fields, accumulate brand power, and practice brand power.
